Would this kit work with a bike with coaster brakes (i.e. single speed reverse pedal brakes)?

The system utilizes a bike’s caliper or disk brake levers, in order to de-activate the motor.

Where is the bottom bracket?

The bottom bracket on a bicycle connects the crankset (chainset) to the bicycle and allows the crankset to rotate freely.
To find out the size of bottom bracket needed, measure the inside of the bottom bracket shell in your frame.
